I have a 1922 FB (Olds) 3 port head. Where does the hole between the intake ports go? (Please Email me for photo.)
Thank you, Lou.

The hole in between the 2 intake ports on the head feeds hot exhaust gasses to the "hot box" that surrounds the intake manifold riser to heat up the air/fuel mixture. If you remove the cast iron cover plate, you'll see where the exhaust gasses will have passed around the vertical riser.
The inlet manifold "hot box" cover on an Olds 3 port head will have the Oldsmobile script cast on the outside of it,the FB inlet cover plate may be just a plain cover plate,no script cast into it.

If you need some OLDS 3-port head parts, Mark Garcia in Fremont has a few.

Cheers, Dean
