Kaygee directed me to this link of the obituary for famed Canadian stock car racer Wallie Branston from back in 2013. Check out his 1937 coupe that he pitted against all of the Ford flatheads and won with!

Wallie was sponsored by Gorries Chevrolet in downtown Toronto. That's the dealership my Grandfather was the shop foreman at. In early 1955, Grandpa went to work for City Buick. When you read the article, you can see what happened to his replacement at Gorries!

The article calls the Chevrolet a 1939, but it looks to be a '37 to me.
