I am wanting to upgrade my 1952 Chevrolet engine from a 216 to a 235> I found a 235 from a 1955 Chevy. Will this swap work as far as motor mounts$ I know the transmission will need to be changed as well as the third member.

The problem is ataching your 1952 side motor mount brakets to the 1955 engine. A 1953-54 engine would be a direct fit including the water pump not needing changes. There would be no need to change the bell housing or transmission but if youkeep the 6 volts the 1952 fly wheel and starter wold need to be used..
