Hello
I am looking for the best repair kit for a 1949 684s Carter W1
It is very important to me to have clear instructions like where the seals are going for example
Could somebody tell me where I could order such a kit ?
Thank you
Best regards
JC

The best kit would be a Carter factory rebuild kit No. 1500A. They are occasionally listed on eBay and have an instruction sheet included as well as the most often needed parts. Expect to have to soak some gaskets to make them supple again. An alternate would be a modern kit some come with instruction sheets.
