When I picked up my car it had a dent in the right rear corner that also included the trunk lid. I've been able to get the body pushed/pulled back out better than I thought as well as the fender. I'm concerned about the trunk lid though. If I can separate the sheet metal from the interior framing then fixing it will be easy. Can it be separated? If so, whats the best way to do it? Here's a pic from when I got it for reference.

If the lid is still solid, the bottom edge is not rusted to bad, then I would just cut about 8 inches of the back panel out over the dented area. Enough area to pound out the dent. When I had finished repairing the dent then I would weld the panel back in place.

If the bottom edge is rusted through I would replace the lid.

Good luck, Mike
