Time to replace the 40 year old radials on my '48 Sport Coupe. I want to return it to bias ply and am looking at Firestones but considering my options for size.

The Firestones come in either the standard 670-15 or a slightly larger 710-15.

Is there any advantage in going with the 710 size over the 670?

There are also options for whitewall width, 2 11/16" or 3.25" It's probably personal preference but I'd like to hear what you have to say about it.

I have 6.70's on my 1950. They are Firestones and the white walls stay nice and white. You will find that the Firestone run large for the marked size and if you choose Firestones I would stay with the 6.70 size.

Had G-78 on my 52. Just put 670 -15 on and it steers much easier now.
