Could a '57 Suburban be ordered from a Chev passenger car dealer with four wheel drive or would the dealer have referred the customer to a GM truck dealer or to the aftermarket?

The information I have is that 4 wheel drive was a factory option on any 1/2, 3/4 or 1 ton truck along with a 4 speed transmission.
