When I try to pull out hard in first or second the car bucks so bad I have to let off the gas and sometimes upshift. It typically happens before the engine is totally up to temperature. I am thinking it may be to lean. It seem fine after it gets hot.

It sounds like our choke may need adjustment. Try setting it a little to the rich side. When it's cold, remove the air cleaner and open the throttle. The choke blade should snap shut. If it's not doing that, it's set too lean.

Thank you Verne, I wanted some confirmation before I started adjusting.
