The paint I got for the interior of my 1950 chevy 1/2T truck is very flat (not glossy). Was the original interior paint flat?

Correct

Original color was a non glare flat tone.

If you are looking for a good interior paint, try SEM products.

Looking at a 54 bulletin, (so good for reference only) the dash top was "low gloss" the dash face and most of the rest of the interior was "semi-gloss". So the anti-glare info is correct. I thought that it actually gave a percentage of flattener in each formula but was mistaken.

Original question related to 1950 trucks.

The dash & interior colors for the 1954 & 55 1st series truck was completely different from the '47-'53 trucks

Understood...I just thought that maybe the same basics applied. We both know you have seen far more trucks than I have.
