I need hood handles for both sides of my '33. I don't know exactly what they look like...just that they fit into a square plate on the inside of the side curtain.

GO TO EBAY SEARCH, TYPE IN 1933 CHEVROLET MASTER HOOD, IN EBAY MOTORS. A SELLER NAMED DESOLDCAR SHOULD BE THE LISTED SELLER FOR VARIOUS 33 CHEV EBAY ITEMS. HE IS ALWAYS SELLING 33 PARTS AND SHOULD HAVE AN EXTRA SET TO SELL. NOTE, HE IS NOT CHEAP ! you could also try IANDIREPRODUCTIONS in calif or THE FILLING STATION. MIKE

Mike. I personally do not Trust him, I purchased some parts that he sold as in great condition to arrive in New Zealand fit for the dump. I would never buy anything from him again.To make matters worse he asked for payment through Paypal "friends and family" which bypassed Ebay so I had no redress.
My Wife said I should have known better my fault buyer beware

Paul I have only dealt with filling station 2-3 times myself and do not recollect any problems Other guys on here who post a lot always seem to recommend him, so just following their lead. I guess the secret is to not use the friends and family thru paypal and USE the ebay buyer protection system . Sad part is the the seller , THE FILLING STATION , is doing themselves a lot of harm because your publicly broadcasting here there and wherever that your really pissed with their lack of service. Problem is that your posts are doing them a lot of harm, as now I would be reluctant to purchase from them as no doubt will many others. ???? One voice screaming in the parking lot does have power ! good luck and hope your next purchase from somebody is good. mike ..........

I only read the last post paul Mitchell made, wow did I blow that. So READERS change the name from the filling station and lay the evil doing stink eye where it belongs on DESOLDCAR.........AKA DALE STEVENS in Frankfort Kentucky . Hi Mike. Joe is correct. I was voicing my personal experience with Dale Stevens.
I have the highest respect for the Filling Station and their staff. I have had top service from them.They are a great company to deal with particularly when you live so far away. This week I received a set of repro 34 standard Hubcaps from them. The Hubcaps are outstanding quality and are a direct copy of my original hub caps.

watch ebay USA every day for hood handles, sooner or later a pair will show up. hopefully a wanted ad on here will turn up a pair. mike lynch

paul, THERE IS A COMPANY IN AUSTRALIA THAT MAKES A LOT OF EARLY CHEVROLET ITEMS AND MAYBE THEY MAKE YOUR HOOD HANDLES. PROBLEM IS I HAVE LOST THEIR WEB SITE INFO.. PAUL MITCHELL is looking for the 33 hood handles, a few posts up . I checked I&I website, none. Could not find anything on the filling station as some one has my catalogue of theirs items. Easier to search print catalogue for me. You have a 33 tub, I would think the hood handles , you should have an extra pair to sell ????????? We all have extra parts we have collected. mike

Hey Mike, sorry if I confused anyone. I was replying from my phone and could not take the eye test to scroll back up to see who the OP was so I just replied to you.
As for extra parts? I sold all of mine at the Downingtown 25th Anniversary VCCA meet back in the 80's after finishing my '33 Master Sedan and am now in "gathering mode" for the pending restoration of my '33 Phaeton.
