I, for the life of me, cannot find any reference anywhere online or in my parts books for this pair of shock absorbers I have. The box says "cat. no. S-279 K" and "5531368". The absorbers have the S 279 reference on them, but also say 813E, and 5376892. They have a date code of 4A57. NOS pair, but for what???

Any help is greatly appreciated!
