Anyone have experience with replacing the wire lead that goes to the coil for a 34 master electrolock? Is it as simple as prying the three tabs apart on the lock cylinder housing and separating the unit to access the wire?

Yes. The Filling Station sells a rebuild manual for the 37-39 models. It may be of use to you. I don't know how similar they are to yours. It sounds like the key end may be the same.

You can access the wire that way but you may have to drill the complete wire from the cable to replace it.
