hello, i have a 1923 that is showing positive to the headlamp plug. i dont see any wires that could be touching the metal plug connector. i tried gounding the lamp socket but the lights still would not turn on, im using 1133 bulbs with a single contact plug, Chevy Superior. thanks

If you have power to the supply side of the globe check all the ground contacts from the globe base to the battery. A quick check is to use a extra piece of wire to connect globe base to battery negative, if the light works you have some cleaning to do.

Update the inner wires were touching the bulb holder. I took one part and cut back fresh wire and on the other I made sure it was in straight. It's a modern type of contact but it works. And the buckets needed a ground wire. Thanks for the help.
