Anybody know what rating fuse to use for turn signals? I have a 14A inline fuse installed, but I seem to be going through flashers every month.

(535 NAPA flasher). NAPA doesn't give any info except 60 w, so am I correct in assuming 10A by Ohms's Law??

Ray,
I sent you a PM. Looks like we got invaded with a pop up ad on this thread.

Hey Rick, I believe it's a paid advertiser and if so helps to support our site. If not I am sure a moderator will take care of it.

Vintage Auto Garage has been the primary sponsor/advertiser for the electrical forum for almost a year now. We are very appreciative for their support.

Be sure to check out some of their solutions for older Chevs. They are doing a good job of helping us keep the old ones on the road.

Thanks Dan. You wouldn't know the manufacturer of your swap meet flashers?
I didn't know we had paid advertisers. Good to know Thanks Steve and Bill.

Funny update. I went into the garage to tackle the inop flasher and guess what?? She works fine. Maybe there was a thermal over heat and it shut down. I love problems that cure themselves!!

I keep spares in my glovebox and will switch to a 10A fuse.

Good deal. I will watch for those at the next meet I attend.
I use hand signals too. Funny to watch the reactions of modern drivers!! Only motorcyclists really know what they mean!!
