My '49 sedan delivery is missing the K-legs which I understand connect the frame to the secondary crossmember (also known as the transmission mount I believe). My question is this; are there any K-legs available out there or would I be better off fabricating my own? I would like to have some original legs or identical aftermarket pieces. Any suggestions or comments are appreciated.

I assume that you are refering to the diagonal brace the runs from the side rail (next to the engine) back to the crossmember.Either you would need to fabricate some (they are box section) or chisel some off of an old frame. The 1949 version fits 1949-51 except convertibles and Power Glides.
