I need to install a side mirror on the driver's side of my 1956 Chevy pickup truck. I don't know where to drill the holes. Does anyone have a location pattern or do I have to pull the interior door panel? Thanks.

My 1955 second series which is relatively unmolested, has a left side (driver's) mirror bracket installed. The top left screw (forward screw) is 3-1/8 inch from the front edge of the door and 3 inches from the top of the door. Measurements are to the center of the screw. Hope this helps.
