I'd like to find a modern replacement element for the one that I have as well. Mine is complete so I could send you pictures/measurements of the filter element - it appears to be a porous stone material. Not sure if it could be cleaned without destroying it.

Not sure if it could be cleaned without destroying it. Is it possible to back-flush the filter element? Maybe hook up a small gas tank for the motor to run on, reverse the gas lines around the gas filter, and run the output into a large glass jar. Best regards, Dean

I have the measurements 13/16 id,1 1/8 od (a hair bigger would work),13/16 high. if i could find an old filter book with measurement numbers and get some kind of cross reference it would be great but you would have to find a older parts store like napa that has kept their books and not rely on computers to find parts that is how i found a napa fan belt to fit my 50 but they are no longer in business in my town the gasket for these filters also seem very different from the plain AC filters will keep trying to find one when i have some time (lol)
