I purchased a '61 Vette that was robbed of a lot of parts over the years. Putting the turn signal housing back together, and I am missing the canceling plate, that as I recall, attaches to the underside of the steering hub. I have a '54 1/2 ton truck and I believe that the same setup works up to the '62 corvette.

I cannot find any info. on this plate which resets the canceling arm after you complete your turn...

Am I looking for the right "thing"...Bob

The same canceling cam is used for 1953-1954 cars, corvettes up to 1962, and trucks up to 1959.

Got it figured out..these units have the canceling ARM set ups, but do not use the canceling PLATE with it. On the underside of the steering wheel hub, there are two "bump-outs" that look like mouse ears, with holes in them. These are for 1" long roll pins that you press in, and they re-set the canceling arm back to center when you complete your turn.
