From what I have read in these forums, the correct spark plug wire for a 1950 should be laquered cloth with right angle connectors at the plugs - no boots. Will this type of wire cause an issue with the radio? Should I be looking for something else? Thanks

That is correct. Normally they do not cause radio problems. If they do run resistor plugs.

Will the spark plug wire set from The Filling Station SA 135 for 1929-48 fit a 1950 engine? They appear to be correct looking - but will they fit? Their RW 221 which are listed to fit 1949-62 have the boots on them. Help

their listing is incorrect. The 1953 was the first with boots and rubber covered carbon string wires.

I ordered a custom set for my 1929 from Bob @ Marxparts
very nice set and looks GREAT !!

1929 Custom SparkPlug Wires

Here is what I ordered:
1929-34 Chevrolet satin black lacquered cloth
spark plug wire set with galvanized spark plug
terminals and antique style, distributor cap and
coil boots.

Love the cloth wire look, and did not want SHINY terminals
