Folks,

Got a call today from Classic carbs out of Phoenix. This is the shop used by J&M out of Southboro MA that I had problems with.

Classic Carbs wants a check for $890.00

I need some input on this. This seems absurdly high?

Go back to the 1929-32 forum and check out the posts there regarding the actual cost of restoring a Carter RJH-08 150-S carburetor.

I did a keyword search by carb with the word "cost" and way too much unrelated popped up.

Do you remember a particular posting
