Most of those that have wives bring them. A few guys don't have wives. Think only one that was married didn't bring the wife on the Ely tour. One wife brought her ailing husband on the tour. He was only able to attend the last night dinner. She drove the motor home, pulling a trailer and the car when she got there.

Jim the reason you see mostly men in the photos is: men taking the photos, cars are in most photos, ladies inside with air conditioning playing cards while the guys are kicking tires.

That's a really good question. Of the 42 families that attended, I counted 36 wives/spouses/girlfriends in attendance.

By the way, here's another photo that Jim Seiber sent to me today. This was taken on our unpaved journey.

I like that last photo, it looks like you could be driving on a back road here in Australia.

That's a great photo! I can see it blown up, matted, framed, hanging in the bedroom.....

Chevrolet6 you must live in the city. Where I live that is most of the roads, no fences and roads with farmers livestock and over abundant native animals to cause havoc.

That certainly sounds like a woman filled with dedication to her mate.

She is not only dedicated to her mate but also VCCA touring. Most would stay home but they are trying to live life to the fullest. Got to give them credit for it.
