I wanted to thank everyone that took part in the 4th annual Mid-America 4-cylinder tour in the Mountain View Arkansas May 18-22.

We had 23 vintage Chevrolets (1915 … 1928) that toured 345 miles of touring. The Ozark mountain roads included lots of ups, downs, and MANY turns to challenge our vehicles and driving skills. I never thought that I could feel out of control at 35 mph before this tour. The 50 miles of driving dad’s speedster on mountain roads in the rain will be family stories for years to come.

Congratulations to Bob & Elenor Lafler for being the first VCCA members to drive a 100 year old Chevrolet on a VCCA tour. They have many stories of their 1915 Baby Grand over their 58 years of ownership.

Special thank you to Dan & Jerri Chase and Chip & Cathy Sweet for organizing this tour.

I look forward to seeing you all on future tours.

It was a lot of fun, even driving in the rain. Thanks Dan Jerri Chip and Kathy.
