I don't believe any of that.
#1 the new Impala is not selling that well and the is almost zero demand for two door cars in tha range.
They mention a 3.5 engine???the present engine is a 3.6.
Why would they call that an Impalla SS when they already have an SS that they can;t give away?
NOTE THAT THE PRESENT SS IS NOT AN iMPALA but a version of a Holden.

Well, crap… had my hopes up!

I'm surprised the new Impala isn't doing well. It's such a nice looking car,

A little early for Aprils Fool, but I agree with Chevy Nut, not selling to well and Like Brewster sid don't know why somewhat attractive. I did test drive one, quite nice, maybe more gadgets than I wanted. but decided on a Cruze based on not wanting a large car payment... was hard to even do that since hadn't had a car laon for decades.
Chevy missed the boat on this one, they should have made the SS based on Holden ( Pontiac G 8 ) the new Impala SS, I would have found a way to add to my stable!

Pulled my 95 Impala SS out this weekend, love rear wheel drive!

What sounds more excting for real is the 2016 Camaro. It will be introduced May 16th at Detroit's Belle Isle and all Camaro owners are invited to attend.
The new 2016 Camaro will be lighter, leaner and meaner.
Built on the GM Alfa platform shared with the Cadillac ATS and
CTS. The 2 liter turbo engine will be available to compete with the Mustangs 4 Cyl. engine.

Also a new Malibu will be introcuced April 1st at the N.Y. auto show.
