Half of the Impala trim is missing. If that is any indication of the rest of the restoration I wouldn't touch the car.

I tend to agree,, i do like the motor set up, the interior kills it for me, , but the price is ok i guess,

It is not for me, but considering it is rolling and running. I have seen sport coupes sell for a lot that are field finds so the price is not bad if this is something your in to. Those Impala quarter mouldings are very hard to find and when/if you do find them they are big time buck$! I would not spend 13K for it but then again I would not pay 4K for something laying in a field since 1976, but thats me, after all it is a 60 coupe and there are not too many out there.

i guess i will pass i hate to spend 13k on something i ant seen ,, too risky for me , i know some people do it ,, i almost did on a 56 olds , but it look perfect ,, all original

I know what you mean. I have bought 4 cars sight unseen on ebay as high as 12K and as low as 4K and I was happy with 3 out 4, not a bad average for baseball, but... The 4K was the one I was not happy with, only minor stuff but still I felt he could have told me, even after he got the money. I was buying original unrestored stuff so it was much more cut and dry then the car you are asking about.
I would not buy that car without looking at it, just my opinion. Even though I do not care for what was done, but if were done poorly,,,,,,,,, or done right
