This may be a dumb question.. but where would the throttle cable hook up to on my 59 apache?

It does not have a HAND throttle cable...6 or 8 cylinder?

6 cylinder. its a knob with a T on it mounted in the dash and the cable goes through the firewall to the engine compartment.

don't think you are dealing with throttle..isn't your carb auto choke? What about exhaust manifold butterfly?

It was an option had one on myn don't remember how it hooked up

There is a Choke cable that is dash mounted as well and that is all hooked up. It's just this throttle cable that is hanging around in the engine compartment and I have no idea where it goes

After thinking it probably goes to a heat riser but im not sure if the guy I bought the truck from took it off or if it is still there... ill have to take a look tonight
