Need some help finding correct length pushrods. Parts book has blank line. Here is the info I have. Casting 3836340 F255N CON3 D95 Looking at aftermarket is coming up with 3 different lengths. Would anyone have the GM part number for the correct pushrod? This engine is a NOS GM shortblock I located at an old Chevy Truck Dealership long gone. Thanks for any info.

I show a part number 3836261 for 1941-1955 all 6 cylinder exc. 216, P.G.), 53-55 Corvette (6 cyl). It shows 10 5/8" long.

3836340 is a late design 1955 to 1957 261 engine. The push rod mentioned is for early 1955 engines.....I don't have the number for the late 55-57 push 261 push rod. Perhaps some one has a 1955 and up truck parts book and could look up the number and length.

The '60 truck parts supplement lists part number 3836260 and 11 13/32 long. The same part number is shown for 53-55 PASS w/P.G. (6 cyl), 56-60 ALL (6 cyl) in the 1933-1960 parts book. Guess that will be the one you need.
