I am looking at the padding that goes on the underside of the hood in the Classic Industries catalog. They list one type for $24.99 and another "molded type" for $109. Which one is correct? Also the clips that hold the padding on - they list both a round and square type. Again, which one would be correct? This is on a 66 Impala SS convertable.

If I am remembering correctly a convertible did not have an under-hood pad.

After further checking the 1966 convertible did have an under hood pad. The moulded whould be like the factory installed. It was molded to go over the humps and bumpes in the structure under the hood.

The fasteners should be round.
