I purchased the headlight bucket pigtail (FS part HL-11) and the headlight socket (FS part AF-153). That's the one for the original flange style bulb. He told me I have to cut off the two wire clip and splice the two from the socket. Do I put the black with the black and the red with the purple or does it matter? Also, I suppose they'd have to be the same on each side so both high beams come on together. Is that correct?
