The spark gap is there for a short quick statement without have to wade through all the forums and answers. It can be used whenever you like to say Hi , or welcome to new members , or a short important notice that can be seen quickly. You type in the empty box what you what to say, then hit the Spark it button.

It's a lot like "search"...It's there...and it's pretty much useless...My advise is just try to ignore it...Maybe it will go away on it's own...Thanks for asking, though...Kevin

Anything in "spark gap" has a short lifespan depending on the number of and size of posts. Tony
