Thanks guys. I believe there's enough tabs there to hold it. Now, how about some torque values? I was going to give it 60 ft/lbs.
Best Regards, Pat

Hello,Saw this post and had to ask, what's the best way to keep the cork end gaskets in place. I'm having a very hard time with them. I wrapped them around a glass for a week to give them a curvature and applied some permatex but they keeping popping off before I can get the pan in place. Thanks

Change your adhesive to a fast setting contact glue. Give it a bit to get set and then install the pan.

I use a few small tacks stuck into the outside edge of the cork. If you fit the head of the tacks against the edge of the pan you can slide it into place. Make sure to put a dab of Permitex No. 2 or similar sealer where the two gaskets meet. Some use silicone but not me. Have not had universal success using it.

Back in the good old days these cork gaskets came in a shallow carbord tube and were preformed when you got them. I guess cardboard is to expensive these days. I just went through installing a oil pan on a '31 this morning and I know it is a challange.
