Will 1974 Oldsmobile 350 gold block heads bolt onto a 1974 Pontiac 350 block?????

I'm not sure what a "gold block" really is. I assume that your talking about a Oldsmobile motor. Oldsmobile and Pontiac motors are unique to each other.

I was helping out a friend with this, he thought that they should work, but I had my doubts.

Back in those days there was a Chevrolet 350, a Pontiac 350, an Oldsmobile 350, and a Buick 350 and they were all completely different engines.
