I got a flywheel cover at a swap meet on sunday for my '50 Styleline and got home only to find it was slightly different that the original one. The one that came off the car has a slight dip to the center on the front edge. The one that I got at the swap meet is straight across. The bolt holes are all the same and all other dimensions are the same. Just curious what the cover I got is for? The guy I bought it from said it was from a '49 216 / 3 speed.

Thanks
Don

ps my original cover has some rot in the bottom of it from the mud bee nest that was in it for the 30 years the car sat.

I believe that you will find its for a 1937-55 truck.
