How much play should there be between the throw out bearing and the graphite on a 31 coupe. My book does not have any specs that I can find. Thanks

Sal I dont know the specifications but I would allow 1/16" to 3/32" clearance at the point of adjustment, I have found that to be a fairly universal setting. Tony

Thanks Tony, I will give that a try. I think that is about what I have on there now, but it never hurts to confirm it.

I've always adjusted the foot pedals to 3/4" - 1" free movement at the pedal itself. Push the pedal by hand until you feel resistance and measure the amount the pedal has moved.

Thanks Bob, That is about what I have. It seems to feel pretty good when you push the pedal down.
