There's a good chance that you have a thread, forum or person selected to be on your WATCH list in Chat.
HOW TO GET RID OF EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS:
Go to My Stuff, My Watch Lists, then click on each of the three tabs across the top (Watched Forums, Watched Topics and Watched Users)...
While viewing EACH tabbed area, click on Edit Watched Forums (or Topics, or Users) at the upper right side...
If any are checked, click on None. Click On Update at the bottom of the page.
Then go to the next tab. Repeat the above steps.
Finally click on Update at the bottom of the page.
This will stop the email notifications to your inbox.
