Junkyard Dog Junkyard Dog Tech Advisor Registered: 11/23/01 Posts: 13589 Loc: Eagle Point, Oregon	The 2003 annual Junkyard Dog Tour will be held in Klamath Falls, Oregon on Friday and Saturday, October 17th and 18th. Early-Bird arrivals will be Thursday, October 16th. For the two day all male event, there will be tours to local car collections, gas pump and sign collections, and even a wrecking yard thrown in for extra measure. Pizza and beer will be on Friday night, and there will also be a large barbecue with all of the trimmings on Saturday afternoon. A local car club will furnish transportation for the two-day tour in vintage cars for all of the Junkyard Puppies. No registration fee! Only cost involved will be $10 for the barbecue on Saturday and a small donation to each vintage car driver for gasoline. We have had as many as 30 dudes attend the annual JunkYardDog adventures, and our goal is to beat that figure this year. At last count there are 15 VCCA puppies registered for the tour (with one puppy coming all the way from Utah), plus those old car dudes that live in the Klamath Falls area that will be driving us around in their vintage cars. So, it looks like, at this point, there will be at least 25 dudes going on the various wrecking yard and garage tours for the two days. Also, just last week a collection of '57 Chevrolets on a farm north of Klamath Falls has been confirmed as part of the tour, so there will be more added excitement for those attending this year. For those of you that are attending, don't forget to make your motel reservations before the meet. There will be two groups arriving.....one group on Thursday evening and the other group (from Medford, Oregon) arriving very early Friday morning at around 6:45 AM.
