The info. that I have pictures the holder as being what probably was sring type clip. It clipped around the flash light and had an extension to support the flash light so it could be placed on the ground to shine up at an angle to assist in ilumina

MY 41 has the stock 9 tube, short wave/am radio. I love the radio. But in Los Angeles there are No AM music stations.

Flash Light Holder ?

Can some one tell me what the "original" Column Mounted flash light HOLDER looked like for a 1941 Chevy ?
I'm not even sure these holders were available from Chevy or GM, or if they were after-market.

If you are a VCCA member you could contact the Technical Advisor for 1927 or 1928. I know recently a bunch of research was done on that color and at least one '27 Touring painted with what was determined to be a good match.

Falmouth gray : 68-74 Ford Truck P or K Boxwood Green, ACME 5558 R-M 2355 duPoint 4932, Ditzler 43716

If the small hole to the right of the steering column is on the bottom flange of the instrument panel, then it is for the wiper control knob.

Falmouth gray?

I am trying to find a formula for 1927/8 Falmouth gray, or a modern color that is a good match. The only thing that I have so far is IM-42. Can't make that work.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Andy.

Does anybody have a diagram of what each hole was used for in firewall of a 1929 AC 4door sedan or a good place to find the information. Also just to the right of my steering wheel there is a small hole in the dash any ideas.

You will have to compare features from your frame to a parts book, as early 490 chassis for the years 1916 -1919 are different to the frames from 1920-22 and then again different 1923-24.

If the handle is a genuine Chevrolet (the key would also fit the glove box) the cyl. is removed by driving the little tiny pin out of the handle shaft. Its located in just about where the ferule is located where the shaft goes thru the lid opening. I
