If they are real new that will stop after a few years. I havn't cleaned the W.W. on my '39 in two years. Had it out yeaterday and they are still white. Two are about 20 years old (getting replaced this year) and two are about 6 years old.

Help! rear drum removal on my 31 coupe

I can't get the drums loose from the rear axels on my 31 coupe. I tried a puller, broke it, made a super heavy duty puller, used alot of heat, broke that one too, tried a big slide puller and alot more heat, it won't budge. Every other bolt on this c

Thats the one that looks like a Chevrolet W-1 with an automatic choke. One that looked like that was used on the Pontiac engines in the mid '30's. Now the one on your 216 work work well on my '39 if I wanted an automatic choke.

Hello again. I purchased a 1939 chevrolet master deluxe sport sedan recently and just got done getting the title squared away. With the car I also for the most part received a parts car, for lack of better words, with it....less the original frame.

They also tend to have a lot of eletrical probles, have an expensive fuel pump that usually lasts only a few years (like a $1200 job) and fuel injector problems. I am a Chevrolet fan but would not recommend this truck. I have contact with Chevrolet

The Rochester carburetor was always very prone to flooding caused by dirt, etc. When they were first used in production in 1950 that was their largest problem. We installed a gas filter on every new car before it was delivered. Took Chevrolet seven
