by

I am rebuilding my 54 generator (#1100028) and while waiting for parts I installed a (1105009) polarized the reg and it works fine. My question is: what does this generator (1105009) fit? My book (1929-1954) does not list this number.

Ray knows what he is talking about.
To replace the antenna on my 41, I called Denny Turner in Florida {I think that his name}. He advertises in G&D, under parts for sale. Check out a few back issues you'll find his advertisement. <

The engines with manifolds were painted as the doggie wrote. However most restorers use a high temperature cast iron manifold paint on the exhaust manifold to keep it looking good and not rusty.

If your bearings are pitted, either they are getting brittle or acid has attacked them. In both cases I would suggest getting your shells rebabbited and then line bore them to proper size with 4 0.002" shims per side. There are a few places that do

What carburetor do you have on your 1932? Is it an original Carter W-1 212S? Or is it the later 235S? Or a replacement?
As Ray suggested check the float for leaks and adjustment. Also check to see if the float bowl cover is straight

Does anybody know the specific rotation value (revolutions per kilometer) for the AC speedometer (metric) that was used in 26-27 cars and -28 truck? Usually the value is printed somewhere on the meter face but AC does not have it.
